What's In A Name

Woodbine Mead comes from Jack's heritage. In the mountains of West Virginia, "woodbine" means honeysuckle. Mead historically has meant Meadow or pasture. The name came naturally when we moved to the property in 2004 and woodbine covered the old fence-rows. Woodbine Mead has come to mean the freshest local flowers in Northwest Arkansas.

Our Flowers Are Local

Flowers from Woodbine Mead travel, on average, no more than ten miles from the garden to the point of sale. We sell during the season. We do not import flowers from the southern hemisphere to have tulips in July or zinnias in March.

We pride ourselves in making our farm accessible so you can see where the freshest flowers in NWA are grown. Farm tours and on farm consultations are a call away at 479-751-3390

Custom Delivery is Now Available

Orders are now being taken weekly delivery of the freshest flowers in Northwest Arkansas directly to your location. We will be making deliveries of custom arrangements to businesses and individuals on Monday and Tuesday beginning March 26, 2012. Our delivery area includes Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville. We will pickup and dispose of the old arrangement each week. This subsription service starts at $16 per week.

Custom Growing Is Our Specialty

We take great pride in offering custom growing of local NWA flowers for special events. Customers can consult with Woodbine Mead in the winter to plan the perfect flowers for an event. The flowers are ordered, planted, harvested and processed exclusively for indivdual customers. Call 479-751-3390 for an appointment.
